Paper Abstract

The investigation results of a dose and dose rate dependencies of radioluminescence spectra's of quartz-polymer optical fibers are presented. The method for measurement and calculating of emission true spectra of optical fibers under γ-irradiation was developed. The method takes into account light reabsorption by induced color centers. The gamma induced emission spectra of FSHA-600 type quartz-polymer optical fiber were corrected on base of this method. The dose and dose rate dependence of radioluminescence of optical fiber investigated was analyzed.
