Narrowing dynamics of intermode beat spectrum and their frequency stability at active mode-locking in a three-mirror diode laser

Paper Abstract

The results of experimental investigations of different regimes of laser diode oscillation at active mode-locking are presented. The regimes at which the minimum beat spectrum width (-3.5 kHz) is achieved were observed. Investigations of the dependence of the optical mode spectrum on different work regimes and feedback factors were carried out. The maximum width of the optical spectrum was 3.7 THz, which corresponds to a pulse width of 0.3 psec. The results of investigations of intermode frequency stability are presented.
