Linewidth effect of CsLiB6O10 crystal optical parametric oscillator on pumping beam parameters

Paper Abstract

According to the theoretical analysis and computer simulation, we research the signal linewidth of CsLiB6O10 crystal optical parametric oscillator (CLBO-OPO) caused by the spontaneous parametric emission, the divergence angle of pumping beam, the off-axes pump phase match and the linewidth of pumping beam. The linewidth of signal is very narrow far away from the degeneracy point and the linewidth increased rear the degeneracy point, thus increased rapidly at the degeneracy point is obtained. It is shown that CLBO-OPO has smaller linewidths in type II PM than that of in type I. These results are important for compression the linewidth of OPO signal and useful for construction high power CLBO-OPO laser. We designed a narrow linewidth, wide band tunable optical parametric oscillator in complex resonant cavity and obtained the output linewidth about 0.5nm in the area far away from degeneracy point, and about 6nm in the area rear by degeneracy point in type II PM.
