Light absorption coefficient in one model of semiconductor film with congruent surfaces

Paper Abstract

In this paper we consider the absorption coefficient for semiconductor thickness-variable films with congruent surfaces. The absorption coefficient corresponding to direct intersubband transitions is obtained as explicit function of the light frequency. Our result allows us to establish the behavior of the absorption coefficient at the special points vicinity.
