Paper Abstract

The working principle and electrical characteristics of piezoelectric ceramic transformer (PCT) as well as its application to make high voltage power supply are introduced at first. A high voltage power supply stepping-up voltage by using PMMN quaternary piezoelectric ceramic was fabricated successfully. It can meet completely the technical standards of radar monitor overall. More importantly, in comparison to the conventional transformer the PMMN PCT has many novel features: very high step-up ratio, small in size, light in weight; it can't be burnt while the load circuit is shortened. These advantages not only enhance the working reliability of radar overall but also just meet the development demands to make the military productions minimized, lighten and flexible.
