Paper Abstract

Within the framework of geometrical optics a mathematical model has been created that permits to compute the conversion of polarization of a light ray passing through a multimode optical fiber with taking into account a birefringence directed radially along the fiber axis and Faraday rotation caused by a magnetic field.
