Test of neutron data in benchmark experiments with 14-MeV source neutrons

Paper Abstract

A solid iron slab with a vertical gap at different positions are irradiated with 14 MeV neutrons. The spectral neutron and photon fluxes penetrating and leaking the assemblies are measured and compared with Monte Carlo calculations for benchmarking calculational tools of fusion reactor design.
