Paper Abstract

This paper presents a 4-channel densely spaced optical frequency division multiplexing transmission/distribution system. Good bit error rate (BER) and eye diagrams are obtained. In more than 24 hours of continuous operation, no error bit is detected (BER < 1 X 10-14). The minimum received optical power measured before the demultiplexing Fabry-Perot filter is -30 dBm (BER equals 1 X 10-9).
