Paper Abstract

In this paper, an optical filter considered by a modified optical Mach-Zehnder interferometer has been theoretically analyzed, the expression of the transmission response function of the improved MZ optical filter was derived, and the characteristics were analyzed in details and discussed in comparison with those of the MZ optical filter.
