Paper Abstract

The present study has demonstrated the feasibility of transmitting polarization-coded optical information by optical fibers and their ability to operate with optical logic elements. Several simple arrangements of optical fibers joined with fibers have been examined. Sufficient coupling efficiency in the arrangements examined has not been achieved.
