Ultra-fast nonlinear optical properties of glass containing rhodamine B

Paper Abstract

A new nonlinear-optical glass composite was developed by doping rhodamine B into inorganic glass at low melting temperature. This glass composite has a large third-order susceptibility of 1. 37×10-8esu, and ultra-fast response time of 46∼50ps.
