Paper Abstract

We propose a novel microswitch beam-steering grid to operate at 240 GHz. The microswitch beam-steering grid has the potential advantages of low loss and simple control circuits, compared to beam steerers based on diode grids. Simulations predict that a 3-bit microswitch beam-steering grid will have a loss of 1.6 dB.
