Paper Abstract

An approach to image enhancement based on information signal spectral abundance for passive imaging systems is proposed. The questions of spectral channel number selection and their parameter optimization are discussed taking into account different criterions of image quality. The peculiarities of the considered approach applications to radiometric and acoustic imaging systems are presented.
