Paper Abstract

The paper outlines the aspects related calibration and maintenance of large geographically distribute antenna arrays for Radio telescope use. A new and innovative procedure is proposed to cut down time and costs of the calibration and maintenance procedure, based on as far as possible automatic systems without heavy and time consuming man working process, unrealistic to use for a system like SKA.
