Paper Abstract

The space laser communication with laser as the carrier realizes the information such as voice, image, data wireless transmission way of communication, has high communication speed, large information capacity, strong anti-jamming capability, intercept ability strong resistance, good security and secrecy, small volume, light weight, low power consumption advantage. It is the need of emergency security for military and civilian, national security and the information transmission network construction. This paper first introduces the foreign representative results of space laser communication and future plans, and analyzes the development trend. In view of the large capacity data, long distance, fast transmission of space communications requirements. We studied the coherent detection technology of WDM, put forward the WDM coherent detection of space laser communication system overall scheme, which is divided into two subsystems. The launch subsystem includes phase by phase modulator, modulation drives feedback circuit, the wavelength division multiplexer, optical amplifier, etc. Receiving subsystem includes phase-shifting mixer, balance detection, amplifier, mixer, loop filter, the vibration of laser. The scheme can be hope to realize the large capacity, high rate, long distance space laser communication.
