We present a fast and parametric algorithm for discrete Gabor expansions (DGE). The fast algorithm allows us to obtain any different pseudo-dual window within a fraction of a second based on the (usual) dual window. We discuss important roles of pseudo-duals in general, and in particular for DGEs. An example of using pseudo-duals to achieve the dimension invariance for DGEs is presented. A new multi-Gabor expansion scheme is also defined and characterized. Various other issues on DGEs are also discussed.
