Paper Abstract

We have designed a static concentrator optics to collect sunlight for indoor illumination. Prismatic elements are typical devices of natural light illumination system for redirecting and collecting daylight. Based on the principles of optics, this paper presents a new type mathematical matrix static solar concentrator. We collect sunlight using a plane round-shape concentrator optics, compressing parallel beam and transmitting light beam through optical channel module from the export outlet of the concentrator optics, and we transmit the high-density light via optical fiber for indoor illumination. This system will provide a great number of benefits for the people who use it.
