Paper Abstract

We use an optical fiber Sagnac interferometer to simultaneously measure magnetic and electric fields. Phase shifts, induced by the Faraday effect and voltage-controlled birefringence, are separately retrieved by in-phase and quadrature demodulation of the interferometer output.
