Paper Abstract

This paper presents recent developments related to the digital video plotter, a softcopy photogrammetric system. Three new modules, improving the performance and versatility of the system, are introduced, accompanied by detailed implementation considerations. The first one concerns the refinement of image coordinates through a scanner calibration process. The second improvement consists of the addition of a second monitor. Finally, the last new module allows the production of ortho-images. Future developments are also identified.
