Paper Abstract
A method for threshold selecting based on histogram transformation is proposed. New formulae for histogram transformation are introduced in the paper. After doing histogram transformation, the histogram became smooth. So, the optimal threshold is easy to detect. It is computationally fast and efficient. Experimental results for a set of images are presented.
