Paper Abstract

The FT-IR and FT-Raman spectroscopies were used to characterize the framework and extra- framework vibrational motions of exchanged EMT zeolites. The as-synthesized NaEMT zeolite was exhaustively ion-exchanged by Li+, K+, Rb+, Cs+, Tl+ and NH4+ cations and the (NH4) EMT was transformed in the protonated form HEMT.
