Paper Abstract

This work examines the reflectance properties of a range of non absorbing powders by diffuse reflectance measurements. Particle size, morphology, density, and optical properties have been considered. The results have been compared with theories of diffusion of non absorbing powders. The Simmons' modified particle model is in good agreement with the experiments.
