Paper Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of the efficiency of the acousto-optic spectrum analyzer (AOSA), working in the presence of an external interference and the internal noises coming from photo detectors and the adjoining electronic processing system. Distortions of true results are caused by heterogeneities in an acousto-optic interaction medium (AOIM) and are related to internal noises of the AOSA. The means and dispersion regularities of the signal frequency and spectrum width estimations have been analyzed.
