Research on the dependence of diffractive losses of generating modes of the CdS microlaser on the parameters of a waveguide resonator

Paper Abstract

In this paper it is shown that diffractive losses which arise on facets of CdS-micro laser resonator have different values for different transverse modes. These values are determined by the waveguide resonator parameters (thickness and index). Influence of index changes which arise in the process of laser generation, on diffractive losses in the resonator, is insignificant.
