Paper Abstract

This paper proves that the application of the photoelastic experiment to studying the mechanical principle of reduction on compression fracture of the spine, for deciding the influence of the location and amount of applied force on vertebras, ligamentum longitudinal anterius, and stress distribution, has certain directive significance in the treatment of spine injury.
