Paper Abstract

Image filtering and restoration using Two Dimensional fast Hartley transformation is analyzed on a PC-386 personal computer. Images are captured using a PC-based frame grabber for subsequent filtering. To speed up data transfer during processing, data is stored in expanded memory of the computer. Application of fringe pattern enhancement in moire methods for vibration studies are demonstrated.
