Paper Abstract

The contribution of particulate pollution to the visibility is demonstrated by applying a pulsed GaAs laser. The density of the "cloud" and the atmospheric attenuation coefficient were also determined. According to the definitions of multiple scattering, it was found that this process governs, in this case, the interaction between the laser light and the particles in the cloud.
