Paper Abstract

The problem of feeding and controlling the radiation pattern of phased-array radar has a novel solution involving the use of fiber and Fourier optics in the system originally proposed by Koepf in 1984. We give analytical descriptions of that system and introduce novel nonlinear optical techniques to address accuracy and alignment issues.
