Birefringence effect of the in vivo cornea

Paper Abstract

We study the birefringence effect of the in vivo cornea by first using sample lenses that produce a polarization pattern similar to that of the in vivo cornea and, second, by performing computer simulations. The stress analysis of the in vivo cornea is discussed.
