Paper Abstract

Phase object visualization problems of various spatial frequency filtration techniques and phase modulation depths are considered. The synthesis of the optical imaging is proposed as a solution, which consists in the separation of a part of the optical system (distorter) responsible for diffraction imaging perturbations. The imaging by the distorter is sufficient to formulate conclusions concerning the visualization problems of the phase objects. Using the vectorial interpretation of the phase object imaging, we show that the satisfactory choice of the visualization method depends on the phase modulation depth of an observed object; therefore, for an unknown phase object, it is necessary to dispose of a few different methods, simultaneously.
