An epsilon-near-zero graphene–silica metamaterial-based structure is proposed and numerically investigated to realize super-reflection and cloaking. The advantage of this structure is that the operating bandwidth can be actively controlled by varying the chemical potential of graphene. By applying different electromagnetic boundary conditions, super-reflection and cloaking can be realized no matter what shape and size the object is inside this device. The ultracompact structure has potential applications in microcosmic science and military detection.
