Paper Abstract

A high changeover ratio, triple field of view lens assembly was designed for limiting diffraction quality in the mid-wave infrared spectrum for a cryogenically cooled staring detector, and its switching mechanism is described. Three types of nonuniformity correction methods are evaluated using a nonsequential ray tracing method and their illumination uniformity performances are compared. Predicting the image formation of a specific target picture is realized through digital image processing and convolution algorithms.
