Paper Abstract

Spatial and temporal input-output transformations of a system CCD camera linked to a frame grabber-digitizer board are investigated. A realistic model for this type of system is proposed and applied to reconstruct a continuous input image from its digital sampling with remarkable accuracy. This reconstruction remains successful for an image with spatial frequencies up to the Shannon maximum frequency, i.e., the half sampling frequency.
