Paper Abstract

Beamsplitters play an important role in most sensitive optical experiments such as interferometry, holography, phase conjugation, etc. For all these experiments, proper splitting of beams (either 50:50 or 25:75) is essential, and to achieve it the proper design of a beamsplitter is important. Beamsplitters consist of a thin window, on each side of which a different type of coating is deposited.
